Job summary

BDP International in Eddystone, PA seeks an experienced Export Operations Supervisor to lead daily export activities, ensure compliance with regulations, and meet customer requirements.

Coordinate with carriers, brokers, and customers, supervise staff, manage export documentation, monitor KPIs, and drive improvements in service quality, efficiency, and cost control. Bachelor's degree preferred, 3+ years' experience, and strong communication and teamwork skills.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 3 years industry experience.
• Knowledge of Transportation industry, Import/Global transportation/Regulatory and business development.
• Must be able to work in a fast paced environment.
• College degree preferred but not required.
• Ability to learn various computer programs.

Responsibilities

• Lead, supervise, and support the export operations team in daily activities.
• Manage end-to-end export shipments, including booking, documentation, cargo coordination, customs clearance, and shipment departure.
• Coordinate with shipping lines, airlines, transporters, customs brokers, overseas agents, and customers.
• Ensure accurate and timely preparation of export documentation, including invoices, packing lists, bills of lading/air waybills, certificates, and customs documents.
• Monitor shipment schedules, cut-off times, vessel/flight departures, and delivery requirements.
• Track shipments and communicate delays, exceptions, and operational issues to customers and management.
• Ensure compliance with customs regulations, carrier requirements, and company procedures.
• Review operational performance and identify opportunities to improve service quality, efficiency, and cost control.
