Job summary

Harbor Freight is seeking an Export Clerk to join our busy export operations team. The role focuses on monitoring emails, coordinating with customers and truckers, and maintaining accurate cargo records in our Cargo Manager system.

The ideal candidate will have at least 2 years in logistics or warehousing, strong Excel and Outlook skills, and excellent communication and organizational abilities to thrive in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• 2+ years in logistics, freight forwarding, or warehouse ops.
• Proficient with Excel and Outlook.
• Strong written and verbal communication.
• Excellent organizational and detail orientation.
• Able to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
• Comfortable handling high email volume and shipments.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and respond to emails regarding export shipments.
• Coordinate with customers, truckers, warehouse staff and internal teams.
• Enter and maintain cargo records in Cargo Manager.
• Process received cargo and verify shipment data.
• Assist driver check-in/check-out procedures when needed.
• Track shipment status and provide updates to customers.
