Export Logistics Coordinator

BDP International – Charlotte, NC

Responsibilities

• Coordinate export trafficking functions, data entry, and document distribution duties associated with customer export shipments through BDP.
• Receive documents and initiate the logging process, confirm compliance with US Customs requirements, process documents, coordinate cargo availability, arrange pickup and delivery, finalize billing, and distribute documents as required.
• Review daily monitoring reports to ensure all standards are met and proactively report non‑conformances.
• Maintain tables, assist in accounting issues, perform RFI/RFQ, and ensure communications are prompt and accurate.
• Prepare export declarations and related Bills of Lading in Ocean Exports.
• Coordinate the outbound movement of international freight shipments.
• Establish rates and services with third‑party carriers.

Requirements

• 1–3 years of experience in a customer service type environment.
• A college degree is preferred but not required.
• Ability to work in a fast‑paced environment.
• Good communication and organizational skills with strong attention to detail.
• Ability to work on a team; leadership experience is strongly desired.
• Ability to learn various computer programs.
