Qualifications

• Minimum of two years hands-on freight forwarding or NVOCC experience.
• Deep knowledge of international logistics, including ocean carrier pricing and shipping protocols.
• Proficiency with Excel, Word and Microsoft Outlook.
• Exceptional communication in English and Spanish, written and verbal.
• Demonstrates leadership, decision making under pressure and team motivation.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and manage all aspects of import and export shipments.
• Handle booking requests and communicate with clients and carriers to ensure smooth operation.
• Provide outstanding customer service and maintain relationships with clients.
• Participate in problem-solving for delays or issues in operations.
• Proactively manage freight forwarding while ensuring compliance with laws and regulations.
• Identify opportunities for process improvement in the supply chain.
• Prepare and analyze freight costs, and negotiate best possible rates.
• Maintain accurate records and reports of shipping operations.
• Engage in regular communication with international and domestic partners.
• Utilize industry software for daily tasks and communication.
