The Opportunity

As an Export Coordinator, you will play a key role in ensuring international shipments move efficiently from origin through to destination.

Working closely with customers, overseas partners, carriers and internal teams, you'll coordinate export shipments, manage critical documentation, and deliver an exceptional customer experience throughout the shipping process.

This is a fast-paced role that would suit someone who enjoys problem-solving, building relationships and being part of a team that keeps global supply chains moving.

What You'll Be Doing

As an Export Coordinator, you'll play a vital role in keeping international supply chains moving. Working closely with customers, overseas partners, carriers and internal teams, you'll coordinate export shipments from start to finish, ensuring a seamless experience for our clients. This is a fast-paced, customer-focused role where no two days are the same, offering the opportunity to develop your logistics expertise while making a real impact on global trade.

Key responsibilities include:

• Coordinating international export shipments across ocean and air freight services.
• Arranging bookings with approved carriers, shipping lines and service providers.
• Communicating with customers, overseas agents and suppliers to ensure shipments progress smoothly.
• Preparing, checking and managing export documentation accurately and in line with shipment requirements.
• Providing proactive shipment updates and delivering exceptional customer service throughout the process.
• Monitoring shipment progress and resolving operational issues efficiently.
• Processing supplier invoices and ensuring costs are recorded accurately.
• Maintaining accurate records within internal systems and customer reporting tools.
• Building strong relationships with customers and identifying opportunities to enhance service levels.

You may currently be working as:

• Export Operator
• Supply Chain Coordinator
• Customer Service Coordinator within Logistics

You'll ideally bring:

• Experience within logistics, transportation, shipping, supply chain or freight forwarding.
• Strong attention to detail and excellent organisational skills.
• A customer-focused mindset and strong communication skills.
• The ability to prioritise workloads and manage multiple deadlines.
• Confidence building relationships with both internal and external stakeholders.
• Strong problem-solving abilities and a proactive approach.
• Experience using Microsoft Office applications.
• CargoWise experience would be beneficial but is not essential.
