Job summary

AV seeks an Export Controls Officer to serve as a subject matter expert on export classification for assigned business units and to lead cross-functional efforts to design for exportability. The ECO will report to the Export Controls Manager and will support production, engineering, marketing, sales, shipping, and program management to deliver compliant products.

A successful candidate will have a strong background in export controls and military equipment/technology, with the ability to review

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Business, International Trade, Law, Science, Engineering, or related field, or equivalent is required.
• Minimum of 7+ years of combined experience in export controls AND/OR a technical field with a focus on capabilities and performance analysis.

Responsibilities

• Cross functional team leader for the Technical Focal Point Program (TFPP).
• Responsible for classification requests (CJ, CCATS, AO).
• Lead Monthly status meetings with product line TFPoints/engineers.
• Maintain and audit all databases for export control information.
• Maintain subject matter expertise in ITAR and EAR regulations as they apply to export controls.
