Idaho National Laboratory is seeking an Export Compliance Analyst to support the Export Control and Compliance team. The role focuses on evaluating technologies, data, and software against U.S.

export control regulations, mitigating compliance risks, and serving as an authority on export control interpretation within the lab. The position emphasizes collaboration with DOE, internal teams, and external agencies, with a 9x80 schedule on the Research and Education Campus and a multi-level posting

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science degree in engineering, science, or a technical field.
• US citizenship and the ability to obtain/maintain a DOE 'Q' clearance.
• Relevant experience in compliance/regulated technical areas such as chemistry, biology, electronics, nuclear, or materials science.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate technologies, data, and software against export control regulations.
• Identify and mitigate export compliance risks and report findings.
• Interpret regulations, conduct activity reviews, and report compliance data.
• Educate employees and coordinate with DOE and external agencies.
• Train and audit junior staff to ensure compliance and record keeping.
