Job summary

RAVN Aerospace is seeking a Trade, Contracts & Compliance Administrator to support U.S. trade and export compliance under ITAR/EAR. The role covers drafting, reviewing, negotiating, and administering contracts across government and commercial programs.

The ideal candidate will have 5+ years in aviation/defense contracting, knowledge of ITAR/EAR, and strong cross-functional collaboration skills. This is an on-site position at the Houston headquarters with standard full-time hours.

Qualifications

• Five to eight or more years of experience in aviation, aerospace, or defense contracting.
• Working knowledge of ITAR, EAR, U.S. export licensing, and sanctions requirements.
• Familiarity with FAR/DFARS and customer flow-downs.
• Strong written and verbal communication across multiple functions.
• Ability to obtain and maintain security clearances and U.S. citizenship.

Responsibilities

• Support ITAR/EAR compliance and export-control activities.
• Review contracts for export-control restrictions and licensing requirements.
• Coordinate with Program Management, Engineering, Operations, IT, Security, and Finance.
• Maintain and audit trade-compliance records and related documentation.
• Assist with pre- and post-award contracting activities and closeout.
