Job summary

Yusen Logistics (Americas) Inc. in Torrance, CA is seeking a detail-oriented Airfreight Export Gateway Coordinator to organize and execute gateway operations for timely, compliant international airfreight shipments.

You will prepare MAWBs/HWBs, AES filings, TSA/IATA compliance, and collaborate with carriers, warehouses, and overseas offices to optimize routing and consolidation. A hybrid schedule and remote work options support work-life balance.

Qualifications

• 1-2 years of experience in airfreight export operations with gateway or consolidation exposure.
• Strong knowledge of export documentation (MAWB/HWB), AES filings, TSA/IATA rules.
• Familiarity with airline booking platforms and freight forwarding systems.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and review export documentation (MAWBs/HANs, AES filings, TSA forms, invoices).
• Maintain TSA/IATA compliance for all export shipments.
• Coordinate consolidations and direct shipments per routing and customer specs.
• Book air cargo space with airlines and manage carrier relationships.
• Track shipments, monitor flight schedules and handle delays or discrepancies.
• Collaborate with warehouse teams on labeling and loading procedures.
• Maintain accurate records for audit and compliance.
