Qualifications

• Experience as Expeditor/Expo or similar restaurant role is preferred.
• Experience in a fast-paced restaurant environment is desirable.
• Strong understanding of restaurant service flow and ticket organization.
• Excellent attention to detail and quick error-spotting.
• Strong verbal communication between kitchen and service teams.
• Ability to multitask and prioritise during busy service.
• Dependable, organized, and team-oriented.
• Ability to stay calm under pressure, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Manage the expo window and coordinate the flow of food from kitchen to dining room.
• Review orders and tickets to ensure accuracy before plating.
• Verify modifications and allergies are properly addressed.
• Inspect plates for presentation, portions, garnishes, and overall quality.
• Organize completed dishes by table and ensure complete orders.
• Communicate clearly with cooks, servers, runners, and managers during service.
• Monitor ticket times and flag delays or issues early.
• Coordinate with Food Runners and Servers to ensure timely delivery to guests.
• Maintain an organized, clean expo station and stocked supplies.
• Ensure condiments and utensils are included with orders.
• Maintain composure and urgency during high-volume service.
