Job summary

Ruby Tuesday in Middletown, NY is seeking an Expo team member to ensure timely food preparation and to coordinate with service and kitchen teams for TueGo/Catering, dining room, and bar orders.

You will use the Kitchen Display System to manage flow, maintain quality, and organize tickets for efficient service. No prior experience required; 18+; ability to work nights/weekends/holidays.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• No prior work experience required.
• Ability to understand and provide friendly guest service.
• Ability to understand and comply with proper food handling and serving techniques and with federal, state and local serving regulations.
• Ability to operate a computer, phone and other office equipment.
• Attention to details with good organizational and efficient time management skills.
• Consistent professional attitude and behavior with effective listening and communication skills.
• Ability to work flexible schedules including nights, weekends, and holidays
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, sometimes under pressure, while remaining flexible and efficient

Responsibilities

• Utilize the Kitchen Display System (KDS) to maintain service flow and prep items to spec.
• Ensure hot food stays hot and cold food stays cold.
• Organize expo table orders by tickets.
• Complete side work and station maintenance.
• Maintain a clean, organized work area before/during/after shift.
• Follow safety and sanitation guidelines.
• Expedite service for TueGo, Catering, dining room, and bar areas.
• Support service team to create repeat business and avoid guest complaints.
• Other duties as assigned.
