Job summary

Ruby Tuesday in Woodbridge, VA is seeking an Expo Cook to help ensure timely preparation of food orders and accurate presentation according to Ruby Tuesday recipes. You will work with service and heart of house teams to expedite TueGo, Catering, dining room, and bar orders, while maintaining a clean, organized expo area and following safety guidelines.

No prior experience required; 18+; flexible to work nights, weekends, and holidays.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• No prior work experience required.
• Ability to understand and provide friendly guest service.
• Ability to understand and comply with proper food handling and serving techniques.
• Ability to work flexible schedules including nights, weekends, and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Utilize the Kitchen Display System (KDS) to maintain the flow of service.
• Ensure hot food is hot and cold food is cold.
• Organize the expo area according to tickets.
• Complete side work and station maintenance.
• Set up, clean and organize work area before, during, and after shifts.
• Follow safety and sanitation guidelines.
• Manage re-cooks and allergen orders as needed.
• Expedite service for TueGo, Catering, dining room, and bar areas.
• Maintain a gracious, friendly attitude and support teamwork.
