Home Team Management Company Llc on Sullivan's Island, SC, is seeking an Expo/Host for a hybrid full-time role. You’ll connect the kitchen, dining room, and front door to ensure quality, hospitality, and smooth guest flow across shifts.

You’ll verify each dish before it leaves the kitchen, assist with reservations and guest seating, handle to-go orders when needed, and support the host stand with a friendly, professional presence.

Qualifications

• Friendly, professional and hospitality-minded.
• Detail-oriented with high standards for food quality and presentation.
• Effective communicator with kitchen and front-of-house teams.
• Calm, adaptable and organized in a fast-paced restaurant environment.
• Comfortable using a POS system and reservation or waitlist platforms.
• Previous restaurant, expo, hosting or customer service experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Communicate clearly with kitchen staff and servers to keep guests flowing.
• Inspect every dish for plating, portions, presentation and accuracy.
• Garnish and finish dishes to meet quality standards.
• Monitor ticket times and help keep food moving efficiently.
• Maintain a clean, organized expo station.
• Follow all food safety, sanitation and cleanliness standards.
• Assist with to-go orders and answer phones when needed.
• Greet guests warmly and manage reservations, waitlists and seating flow.
• Stay knowledgeable about the menu, specials, 86’d items, beverages.
• Know the floor plan and seating capacity.
• Communicate guest needs and seating updates clearly with the team.
