Job summary

Union Taco in Chesapeake, VA is seeking an Expo/Food Runner to support the kitchen and front-of-house teams. You will coordinate food delivery, keep the expo area clean, communicate with servers, and monitor presentation and quality to ensure guest satisfaction.

Ideal candidates bring experience in food service, strong communication, and the ability to thrive under pressure. Flexible schedules, standing for long periods, and occasional heavy lifting are required for this role.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in food service or restaurant environment preferred.
• Strong communication skills and ability to work in a team.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment.
• Knowledge of food safety and sanitation standards.
• Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
• Must be able to stand for long periods and lift heavy trays.
• Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic.
