Job summary

Rihm Family Companies in Minnesota is seeking an Experienced Heavy Truck Body Shop Technician to repair vehicles to factory specs with minimal supervision.

Responsibilities include repairing components, fiberglass and cab work, welding, and leak repairs; requires 5+ years of heavy/medium truck repair and solid mechanical knowledge.

Qualifications

• MIN 5 years of experience in heavy and medium truck repair and strong mechanical skills.
• Knowledge of suspension and mechanical operations.
• Experience with body repair, paint, fiberglass repair and paint mixing.

Responsibilities

• Repair or replace truck components as needed.
• Repair fiberglass and plastic parts.
• Repair or replace cabs and adjust hoods/doors.
• Replace mechanical components such as cooling, suspension or steering parts.
• Weld steel, aluminum and plastic parts.
• Locate and repair water and air leaks.
• Work independently.

Position Summary:

To efficiently and effectively repair light or heavily damaged vehicles back to factory specs with little supervision.

QualificationsQualifications:

• Good knowledge of suspension & mechanical operations
• Experience with body repair, paint, fiberglass repair, paint mixing
