Job summary

OpenAI is hiring an Experiential Producer to bring OpenAI's latest technology to life through booths, demos, and installations worldwide. Based in San Francisco, you’ll collaborate with Product, Marketing, and creative teams to translate concepts into production briefs, budgets, and on-site delivery.

You’ll manage agencies and vendors, lead multiple projects, and ensure quality, safety, and brand standards while keeping deadlines and budgets in check.

Qualifications

• 8+ years producing experiential programs, brand activations, launches, installations, exhibitions, or live events.
• Portfolio showing sound design judgment, practical problem-solving, and careful execution.

Responsibilities

• Produce experiences that introduce people to OpenAI’s latest products, from global launches and hands-on demos to custom installations around the world.
• Work with Product, Marketing, and creative teams on future concepts, turning ideas into production briefs and build plans for different audiences.
• Bring together agencies, fabricators, technical specialists, and venues to solve builds with no off-the-shelf solution, from prototypes to final experiences.
• Independently run multiple projects, set milestones, manage scopes, bids, contracts, procurement, budgets, and forecasts while keeping deadlines and approvals organized.
• Lead booth builds, technical production, and live delivery, ensuring quality, accessibility, safety, and brand standards.
• Keep the team informed and supported, celebrate wins, and adapt to unfamiliar problems as plans change.
• Experiment with OpenAI tools throughout production, from research to vendor briefs and post-event analysis.
• Set success measures using audience response, product engagement, business results, and partner feedback to improve future experiences and vendor standards.
