Job description

About the Team

AI will change how the world works. Human connection will shape what it becomes. the company’s Events and Experiences team, part of Business Marketing, carries the critical responsibility of bringing people together around the company’s mission – building artificial general intelligence that benefits all of humanity. We strive to put human benefit in the spotlight and craft experiences that build trust, spark possibility, and make the future feel within reach and exciting. We are not a traditional events team: we move with extreme speed, rigor, and precision. We use AI tools to rethink everything from the first plan to the final guest moment – and we bring grit, joy, humor, and extraordinary creative talent to create what has not existed before.

About the Role

We’re looking for an Experiential Producer to put the company’s latest technology in people’s hands. You’ll produce experiences where people discover something they didn’t know they could do with our products, whether they’re trying ChatGPT for the first time or building with our newest developer tools. From intimate demos to global launches, cultural programs, large‑scale events, booths, and brand installations, you’ll help shape how people experience the company around the world.

Working closely with Product, Marketing, and creative partners, you’ll take concepts through design development, fabrication, and on‑site delivery. You’ll bring deep experience producing booths and custom builds, managing agencies and vendors, and working directly with fabricators to understand what’s possible within the budget and timeline.

This role needs someone who can run several projects at once and stay close to the details. You’re resourceful when plans change, comfortable making decisions on your feet, and clear with the people depending on you. You take pride in producing great work and bring a sense of humor and genuine enthusiasm to the process.

In this role, you will:
  • Produce the experiences that introduce people to the company’s newest products, from global launches and hands‑on demos to custom installations around the world.
  • Work with Product, Marketing, and creative teams on what’s coming next, turning ambitious concepts into production briefs and build plans for different audiences.
  • Bring together agencies, fabricators, technical specialists, and venues to solve builds that don’t have an off‑the‑shelf answer, from early prototypes to finished experiences.
  • Independently run several projects at once. Set milestones and own scopes, bids, negotiations, contracts, procurement, budgets, and forecasts while keeping deadlines, dependencies, and approvals organized.
  • Lead booth builds, technical production, and live delivery, from product integrations and AV to show calls. Protect quality, accessibility, safety, privacy, and brand standards.
  • Keep a fast‑moving team informed and supported. Celebrate wins, share progress and hurdles without prompting, and take on unfamiliar problems as plans change.
  • Experiment with the company tools throughout production, from research and planning to vendor briefs, project updates, and post‑event analysis. Help the team find better ways to work.
  • Set success measures and use audience response, product engagement, business results, and partner feedback to improve future experiences, reusable production tools, and vendor standards.
You might thrive in this role if you have:
  • 8+ years producing experiential programs, brand activations, launches, installations, exhibitions, or live events, ideally for technology or complex products.
  • Deep experience producing booths and custom builds, with a portfolio showing sound design judgment, practical problem‑solving, and careful execution.
  • Experience working with Product, Engineering, or technical teams, and genuine curiosity about how the company’s products work.
  • The initiative to own projects independently: set milestones, make decisions, and tackle unfamiliar problems without waiting to be asked.
  • A diverse network of trusted agencies and vendors, strong negotiation skills, and good judgment about when to use a full‑service agency or a specialist.
  • Experience adapting production for different audiences, cultures, event scales, and markets while keeping global standards consistent.
  • A natural collaborator who enjoys meeting people and hearing new ideas. You listen with empathy and build trust across teams and partners.
  • Exceptional organization across multiple projects, substantial budgets, and tight deadlines, with the flexibility to reprioritize when plans change.
  • High standards for quality and a willingness to get hands‑on. You bring a sense of humor and don’t take yourself too seriously.
