Job summary

OpenAI is seeking an Experiential Producer to bring OpenAI’s latest technology to people through hands-on demos, booths, and installations worldwide. You’ll collaborate with Product, Marketing, and creative teams to translate ambitious concepts into production briefs, build plans, and on‑site delivery.

The role requires 8+ years of experience producing experiential programs, deep booth/build expertise, and strong cross‑functional leadership.

Qualifications

• 8+ years producing experiential programs, brand activations, launches, installations, exhibitions, or live events.
• Deep experience producing booths and custom builds with sound design judgment and practical execution.
• Experience working with Product, Engineering, or technical teams and curiosity about how products work.
• Ability to own projects independently: set milestones, make decisions, and handle unfamiliar problems.
• Strong network of agencies and vendors and sound negotiation, budgeting, and vendor selection judgment.
• Experience adapting production for different audiences, cultures, and markets while maintaining global standards.
• A natural collaborator who communicates clearly and builds trust across teams and partners.
• Excellent organization with large budgets and tight deadlines and flexibility to reprioritize.

Responsibilities

• Produce experiences that introduce people to OpenAI’s latest products, from global launches to demos and installations.
• Collaborate with Product, Marketing, and creative teams to turn concepts into production briefs and build plans.
• Coordinate agencies, fabricators, and venues to create builds beyond off‑the‑shelf solutions.
• Run multiple projects concurrently; manage milestones, scopes, bids, contracts, procurement, budgets, and forecasts.
• Lead booth builds, technical production, and live delivery, ensuring quality, accessibility, safety, and brand standards.
• Keep the team informed and supported; communicate progress and hurdles without prompting.
• Experiment with OpenAI tools in planning, vendor briefs, updates, and post‑event analysis; improve workflows.
• Set success measures using audience response, product engagement, business results, and partner feedback.
