Job summary

Follett Higher Education is seeking an ELP Team Member to join the campus bookstore team. You will greet customers, answer inquiries, and process purchases using the POS system while maintaining a clean, stocked, and organized sales floor.

The role emphasizes exceptional customer service, safe money-handling, and collaboration with training of new team members. Availability to meet business needs is required, with duties including shelving, signage, and basic order processing.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Minimal travel expected (less than 10%).

Responsibilities

• Greet customers and assist with inquiries; support a hassle-free customer experience.
• Operate POS system, handle payments, and apply discounts as appropriate.
• May perform data entry or order placement for books and merchandise as directed by the manager.
• Stock shelves, price merchandise, and assist in displays and signage.
• Follow safety and loss prevention procedures; monitor EAS alarms and inventory tags.
• Other duties as assigned by the supervisor.
