Job summary

Follett Higher Education is seeking an ELP Team Member to deliver exceptional customer service at the campus bookstore. You will greet customers, assist with inquiries, process purchases on the POS, and ensure shelves are stocked and priced correctly.

The role requires safe money-handling, training new staff, and maintaining availability to meet business needs, including possible evenings and weekends on campus in Philadelphia, PA.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Verbal and written communication skills.
• Availability to meet business needs (including some evenings/weekends).
• Able to stand for long periods and handle light lifting.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers and assist with store inquiries; ring up purchases using the POS.
• Operate POS: handle payments, give change, apply discounts, balance drawer.
• Assist with training new team members.
• Keep the sales floor stocked and properly priced.
• Follow safety and loss prevention procedures and respond to EAS alarms.
• Other duties as assigned.
