Job summary

The University of Nebraska-Lincoln College of Business seeks an Assistant Director of Experiential Learning to oversee signature experiences in MNGT 101 and MNGT 475, serving as the main liaison between instructors and learning assistants.

You will recruit and train volunteers and undergraduate LAs, set up Canvas activities, coordinate with faculty, plan the Tenaska Business Challenge and IBL programming, and track learning outcomes to support student success and AACSB assurance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree and at least two years in student services or related fields.
• Experience analyzing data sets and making recommendations.
• Public speaking and presentation skills required.
• Excellent verbal and written communication.
• Ability to work independently with strong organizational skills.
• Valid driver’s license and university driver eligibility.

Responsibilities

• Manage experiential learning activities in business courses.
• Recruit, train, and manage up to 150 corporate volunteers for MNGT 101 and 475.
• Coordinate with faculty to match volunteers with students/groups.
• Hire and train 20–30 undergraduate learning assistants and lead weekly meetings.
• Set up Canvas assignments and lead stakeholder communications.
• Serve as primary contact for program to students, faculty, staff.
