American University seeks an Experiential Education Assistant to gather data and support experiential learning projects in the Career Center. You will review university data, research sources, and communicate with staff, faculty, and students.

This part-time role reports to the Experiential Learning Specialist. The position requires Excel expertise, strong communication, data integrity, and confidentiality, with 8–12 hours per week starting October 2026 and ending by May 7, 2027; eligibility

Qualifications

• Incoming or current AU student with an active Federal Work Study award.
• Must reside in DC, Maryland, or Virginia during employment.
• Experience using Microsoft Excel to manage large data sets.

Responsibilities

• Collecting data from reports and managing the data in Microsoft Excel; standardizing responses.
• Creating social media; handling internships email inbox and inquiries.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
