Job summary

Union Market District seeks a Manager, Events, Partnerships and Experiences to develop and deliver programming across its DC footprint. You will translate strategy into in-store activations, pop-ups and sponsor-supported programs, coordinating with Marketing, Leasing and venue teams.

You will manage on-site events, lead cross-functional teams and nurture partnerships with retailers, sponsors and cultural partners. The role requires nights and weekend availability and strong relationship skills.

Qualifications

• 3+ years in event production, experiential marketing or related field.
• Experience creating pop-up activations and retail programs.
• Direct retailer/partner engagement in high-visibility role.
• DMV area relationships preferred.
• Strong project management and organizational skills.
• Attention to detail and reporting ability.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Willingness to work nights, weekends and holidays.
• Proficiency with MS Office and event software.

Responsibilities

• Ensure operational excellence aligns with Union Market District goals.
• Execute annual programming calendar and deliver activations.
• Provide on-site leadership and resolve issues while maintaining guest/retailer experience.
• Develop consumer-facing pop-up activations.
• Coordinate with internal teams on responsibilities and deadlines.
• Maintain event timelines and trackers across programs.
• Coordinate contracts, COIs and other event documents.
• Provide Marketing with event details, partner information and deadlines.
• Prepare briefs, recap reports and participation summaries.
• Track attendance, participation, revenue and feedback.
• Support venue sales coordination with Senior Manager, Venue Sales & Operations.
• Engage retailers to develop in-store activations and festival participation.
