Job summary

Octant Labs is seeking an Events Lead to own events end to end and treat them as a living extension of the brand. This hands-on role involves planning, organizing, and running events in fast-changing environments, acting as the main point of contact for venues, partners, and internal teams.

You'll design experiences that reflect our values, build trust and momentum, manage timelines and budgets, and coordinate merch.

Qualifications

• Strong experience running events in crypto, startups, or fast-moving tech.
• Proven ability to activate network and fill rooms.
• Ability to work cross-functionally and communicate clearly with diverse stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• End-to-end ownership of all events — strategy, planning, logistics, execution, and post-event follow-up.
• Single point of contact for venues, partners, vendors, speakers, sponsors, and internal teams.
• Design events as part of a broader narrative, with consistent tone across touchpoints.
• Managing timelines, budgets, run-of-show documents, checklists, and contingency plans.
• Coordinating merch production, sourcing, inventory, distribution, and on-site usage.
• Ensuring every detail is handled — from contracts and shipping to on-the-ground execution.
• Adapting quickly when plans shift and making clear decisions under pressure.
• Following through after events with debriefs, learnings, and next steps.
