Job summary

Louisiana Children’s Museum is seeking a Group Experience Coordinator to organize birthday parties and field trip visits, welcomes groups on arrival, and serves as on-site liaison with museum staff.

The role emphasizes customer service, reservation management, and coordinating communications with parents and educators, with weekend shifts required to support birthday experiences and related events.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of customer service experience.
• Minimum 1 year of database management experience.
• Minimum 1 year of experience in event coordination, planning, or hospitality.
• Minimum 1 year of experience working with children and/or families.

Responsibilities

• Promote and uphold the culture and brand of LCM.
• Project a positive image of the organization to guests, employees, volunteers, and the community.
• Manage all reservation requests and inquiries for birthday parties and field trips.
• Meet sales goals through proactive customer engagement for bookings and memberships.
• Provide exceptional customer service throughout the booking process and for membership renewals.
• Coordinate with the Visitor Services team to ensure all booking documentation is received before group arrival.
