Job summary

Point Nine Trailside Eatery is seeking an organized and energetic Event Coordinator to plan and execute a variety of events, from weekly gatherings to private parties. You will collaborate with owners and the management team to ensure every detail is covered from setup through teardown.

The role emphasizes strong communication, customer service, and multitasking in a fast-paced restaurant environment, with opportunities for growth and flexible scheduling that includes some evenings and weekends.

Qualifications

• Strong communication, organization, and customer service skills.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
• Comfortable working with customers, vendors, business owners, and entertainers.
• Self-motivated, dependable, detail-oriented, and able to solve problems quickly.
• Experience in event coordination, hospitality, restaurant operations, catering, sales, or customer service is preferred.
• Willingness to work a flexible schedule, including some evenings and weekends based on event needs.
• Ability to lift, move, and arrange event supplies, tables, decorations, and equipment as needed.

Responsibilities

• Plan and coordinate weekly, monthly, and quarterly events with the management team and owners.
• Serve as the primary point of contact for customers planning private events, reservations, catering opportunities, and special occasions.
• Coordinate with vendors, sales representatives, entertainers, and event partners to ensure every event is fully prepared.
• Purchase and organize event supplies, decorations, equipment, and promotional materials.
• Maintain organized event calendars, timelines, customer information, vendor contacts, and supply lists.
• Coordinate event setup, oversee execution, and manage teardown and cleanup.
• Communicate event details, timelines, promotions, and operational needs with restaurant staff.
• Track attendance, expenses, customer feedback, and event results.
• Help identify new event opportunities, partnerships, and creative ideas that increase traffic and strengthen community engagement.
