Job summary

Hyatt Regency Miami is seeking an Event Sales Manager to drive sales and ensure top‑notch service for events. Primary focus is Banquet Food and Beverage, menu planning, agenda setting, and coordinating hotel meeting services.

You will review contracts, facilitate pre-, during- and post‑event communications with hotel staff, host tours, build strong customer relationships, and collaborate with sales and events teams.

Qualifications

• Experience leading event sales in hospitality or catering environments.
• Strong understanding of Banquet Food & Beverage operations and event planning.
• Proven ability to build and maintain client relationships and close agreements.

Responsibilities

• Sell and service events with a focus on Banquet F&B and hotel meeting services.
• Review contracts and coordinate pre-, during-, and post-event communications with hotel staff.
• Host hotel tours and collaborate with Sales and Events teams to maximize client satisfaction.

The Event Sales Manager is responsible for selling and servicing events. Primary sales efforts are in Banquet Food and Beverage and include menu planning, agenda setting, and hotel meeting services. Duties also include, but are not limited to, contract review and facilitating communication before, during, and post-event with pertinent hotel staff to ensure a high level of service.

The Event Sales Manager also hosts hotel tours, maintains strong customer relationships, participates and may lead event meetings and other staff meetings, and work as a team member with the sales and events staff. The manager also works closely with Administrative Assistants and other support staff.
