Job summary

Outbound Sedona is seeking a seasoned Catering & Conference Services Manager to connect clients with every hotel department, owning the guest experience from contract through checkout. You will lead planning, supervise event details, and ensure seamless execution across all touchpoints in a client-facing, high-ownership role.

The role demands strategic thinking and hands-on follow-through, with a focus on profitable catering, flawless service, and memorable experiences at our Sedona basecamp.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in Catering, Conference Services, or Event Management within hotel or resort environments.
• Proficiency in Delphi is highly preferred; experience with HMS or comparable CRM is a plus.
• Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite.
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills with the ability to present to a C-suite and rally a banquet team.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the primary liaison for confirmed group and catering clients from contract through execution.
• Lead planning meetings and site inspections to understand client vision and event requirements.
• Develop and distribute BEOs, group resumes, and all event documentation with accuracy.
• Greet group contacts on arrival and provide ongoing access throughout their event.
• Identify upsell opportunities to maximize revenue while elevating client experience.
• Coordinate dietary requirements and event-specific details with precision.
• Direct all phases of group planning and execution to meet client expectations.
• Coordinate and manage all group needs from start to finish.
