Job summary

DICK'S Sporting Goods is seeking an Assistant Store Manager of Experiences for our NEW Sarasota, FL House of Sport store at University Town Center. This role guides specialized experiences like rock walls, batting cages, golf bays, and in-store events to engage athletes and boost loyalty.

You will coordinate event space, merchandised departments, and staff to deliver a seamless, high-energy shopping experience while maintaining brand standards and safety policies.

Qualifications

• 1-3 years of retail management experience.
• Bachelor's degree preferred.
• High School Diploma or equivalent required.

Responsibilities

• Oversee all specialized Experiences of the business including: The Rock Wall, The Cage, The Field/Ice Rink, Golf Bays/Services, Equipment Service, and In-Store activations (where applicable).
• Increase revenue, traffic, athlete conversion through strategic programming including but not limited to in-store events, utilization of batting cages, golf bays, outdoor field and rock wall, couponing/shop nights.
• Event planning, event space capabilities; provide information on event space configurations and recommend the most effective set up for the event type and size based on event space & availability.
• Oversees staffing coverage, internal and external communication, event day-of execution (setup to tear down), and ensures all appropriate event waiver needs are 100% compliant.
• Drives innovation by leveraging our specialized experiences to create and uncover new opportunities for continued engagement and enhanced value.
