Job summary

UFCU in Austin seeks an experienced Experience & Events Manager to lead planning and execution of strategic partnership events, activations, sponsorships, and community programs. You will strengthen member relationships and advance UFCU’s goals.

Reporting to the Director of Partnership Success & Community Engagement, you will collaborate with Business Development, Community Engagement, Marketing, Retail, Lending, and leadership to deliver memorable experiences and responsible activation

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required or equivalent experience.
• Minimum of five (5) years of related experience in event planning, activation management, sponsorship execution, community engagement, stakeholder engagement, business development support, marketing, hospitality, financial services, or a related discipline.
• Minimum of three (3) years leading complex projects, programs, events, or cross-functional initiatives.
• Minimum of one (1) year experience as a people leader.
• Demonstrated experience planning and executing events, activations, programs, or stakeholder engagement initiatives.

Responsibilities

• Lead the planning, coordination, and execution of strategic partnership events, sponsorship activations, community events, and stakeholder engagement initiatives.
• Develop an annual activation calendar aligned with partnership priorities, community development goals, and organizational objectives.
• Create engaging opportunities to strengthen UFCU's visibility in higher education, healthcare, employer groups, and community organizations.
• Oversee all aspects of event execution including planning, logistics, vendor management, budgets, communications, UFCU suite hospitality, and post-event evaluation.
• Lead and develop a team responsible for event planning, activation management, sponsorship coordination, and stakeholder experiences.

Education

Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Communications, Hospitality/Event Management, Public Administration, Organizational Leadership, or a related field
