Job summary

The Vanderbilt in Newport, RI is seeking a full-time Experiences Coordinator to drive setup, execution and follow-through of events, programs and F&B initiatives. You will collaborate with guests and teammates to deliver memorable experiences and support cross-department operations across the hotel.

This role covers planning, vendor relationships, internal training and on-property programming across culinary, wellness, arts and fashion experiences, reporting metrics to improve guest satisfaction

Responsibilities

• Manage annual programming calendar
• Organize and plan weekly activities, special events and holiday programs, including setting up and hosting certain activations
• Engage with guests to promote and sell activities, help build itineraries and drive personalization through amenities
• Communicate with team members on upcoming experiences or events
• Manage experiences, events, amenity and food & beverage related OS&E
• Manage internal training documents for experiences and events: SOPs and BEOs, update brand decks
• Gather and organize metrics on experiences and programming: bookings, guest feedback, revenue
• Manage local vendor relationships and communication: invoices, contracts
• Liaise with marketing on experience-related touchpoints and channels
