The Vanderbilt, Auberge Collection in Newport, RI is seeking a Server Assistant to support our dining team with attentive service and guest satisfaction. You will help set up and clear tables, assist servers with beverage delivery, and ensure a polished dining environment in a luxury hospitality setting.

You will work as part of a professional team, maintaining high standards of appearance and service, and adapting to a flexible schedule that includes weekends and holidays.

Formación

• Minimum of one year experience in the foodservice/hospitality industry.
• Good knowledge of food and wine; luxury hospitality property experience preferred.
• Must be of minimum age to serve alcohol.
• Superior professional appearance and manner; able to work in a fast-paced team.
• Flexible schedule including weekends and holidays; availability as department needs.
• Ability to obtain state/local food handling or alcohol certifications as applicable.

Responsabilidades

• Assist in setting up and clearing tables to maintain a clean dining area.
• Deliver beverages to tables and refill drinks; ensure guest satisfaction.
• Assist guests and answer questions; accommodate special requests.
• Collaborate with servers and staff to ensure efficient service and communicate guest feedback.
• Maintain dining area cleanliness and sanitation, following food safety protocols.
