Responsibilities

• Assist veterinarians during examinations and treatments.
• Support surgical procedures.
• Perform diagnostic testing including bloodwork and urinalysis.
• Assist with and obtain diagnostic X-rays.
• Administer medications and vaccinations as directed.
• Assist with anesthesia and anesthetic patient care.
• Monitor patients throughout procedures and recovery.
• Provide attentive care to hospitalized patients.
• Educate pet owners about treatment plans and home care.
• Maintain accurate medical records.
