• Previous veterinary reception or veterinary client-service experience.
• Passion for pets and people.

Responsibilities

• Welcome clients and patients with warmth, professionalism, and compassion.
• Answer incoming phone calls and respond to client questions.
• Schedule and coordinate veterinary appointments.
• Check clients and patients in and out efficiently.
• Communicate important information between clients and the medical team.
• Maintain accurate client and patient information.
• Process payments and assist with client transactions.
• Help clients understand hospital services, recommendations, and next steps.
• Recognize potentially urgent concerns and communicate them appropriately to the medical team.
• Provide compassionate support during stressful situations.
• Balance multiple priorities while maintaining excellent client service.
• Collaborate with veterinarians, technicians, assistants, and fellow reception team members.
• Participate in cross-training and continued learning opportunities.
• Take ownership of responsibilities and help identify ways to improve the client and team experience.
• Jump in wherever needed to support clients, patients, and coworkers.
