Homestead Veterinary Hospital is seeking an experienced veterinary receptionist to join a six-doctor practice. You will welcome clients, manage appointments, and support a busy team dedicated to animal care.
The role requires compassion, calmness, and excellent communication in a fast-paced environment. We value organization, reliability, and a genuine interest in advancing your knowledge of veterinary practice operations.
Are you an experienced veterinary receptionist who enjoys helping people, staying organized, and being part of a team that cares deeply about animals? Homestead Veterinary Hospital is looking for a compassionate, team-oriented veterinary receptionist who brings strong communication skills, a calm approach, and a passion for outstanding client service.
Our six-doctor practice cares for a diverse caseload of approximately 70% equine, 25% small animal, and 5% small ruminant patients. From beloved backyard companions to high-level performance horses, we support a wide range of veterinary needs, including equine sports medicine. While much of our work is ambulatory, we also have a 10,000-square-foot, state-of-the-art hospital equipped with indoor stocks and four stalls, including dedicated mare/foal and isolation spaces.
As a veterinary receptionist, you’ll play an important role in creating a welcoming experience for clients and helping our veterinary team keep each day running smoothly. If you enjoy connecting with people, managing multiple priorities, and making a difference for pets, horses, and their owners, we’d love to hear from you!
What We’re Looking For
You should also be comfortable working in a veterinary hospital environment where you may encounter unpleasant odors and noises, animal waste, bites, scratches, and potentially contagious diseases.
Training and Career Development
Whether you want to become an expert in your veterinary receptionist role or grow toward your next career opportunity, we want to help you succeed. You’ll have access to a variety of virtual learning opportunities, hands‑on training, and interactive professional development to build your skills and expand your knowledge of veterinary practice operations.
At Homestead Veterinary Hospital, your ability to support clients, communicate with the team, and help create a positive experience matters. If you’re ready to bring your compassion, organization, and customer service skills to a veterinary team that cares for a diverse range of patients, we encourage you to apply!
