Qualifications

• 3+ years in customer service, reception, or client-facing role.
• Previous veterinary receptionist or healthcare front-desk experience REQUIRED.
• Proficiency with a multi-phone line system while assisting in-person clients.
• Experience with Avimark veterinary software preferred.
• Excellent verbal and written communication; compassionate, professional service.
• Experience scheduling appointments and coordinating calendars preferred.
• Ability to process payments and maintain financial records.

Job description

Brawley Animal Hospital is seeking an outgoing Client Service Representative to serve as the welcoming face of our hospital.

In this fast-paced role, you will create exceptional client experiences, build trust through compassionate service, manage appointments and daily patient flow, handle multi-line phones and in-person interactions, process transactions, and support clients with essential information about our services. Ideal candidates are friendly, detail-oriented, highly organized, and thrive in a team-focused customer service environment.

Schedule and compensation:

• Compensation: $15 - 19 per hour, for each hour worked
• Schedule: This is a part-time position , with a flexible schedule. Saturday coverage rotates approximately once per month — the practice is closed the 1st and 3rd Saturdays of each month, so weekend commitment is minimal. No on-call requirements.

M inimum qualifications and skill set:

• 3+ years of experience in a customer service, reception, or client-facing role
• Previous veterinary receptionist or healthcare-related front-desk experience REQUIRED
• Proficiency in the following skills:
  • Ability to manage a multi-phone line system while assisting in-person clients
  • Experience working with veterinary practice management software, especially Avimark, preferred
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to provide compassionate, professional service to clients during both routine and emotionally sensitive situations
  • Experience scheduling appointments and coordinating calendars preferred
  • Ability to accurately process payments and maintain financial records
