VCA Indian Land Animal Hospital is hiring an experienced Veterinary Assistant to join our team in Fort Mill, SC, just south of Charlotte!

About Us

Our 3-doctor practice offers Primary Care, Dentistry, and Surgery. We see dogs, cats, rabbits, and pocket pets. Our hours are Monday through Friday 7:30am - 5:30pm, Saturday 8am - 12pm, closed Sunday.

About the Role

As Veterinary Assistant, you will help create and maintain a positive, low-stress atmosphere for our patients and clients. Duties will include:

• Compassionate patient care
• Client education and care
• Venipuncture and catheter placement
• Radiology and diagnostics
• Lab sample collection and processing
• Surgical preparation and assisting
• Anesthesia monitoring
• Dentistry
• Medication preparation and administration
• Safe and effective patient handling and restraint
• Medical recordkeeping
