Job summary

Pape' Kenworth, a premier truck dealer in Portland, OR, is seeking an Experienced Truck Technician to join our team on the day shift. You will service medium and heavy-duty Class 7 & 8 trucks, diagnosing issues and performing repairs to maximize uptime for our customers.

We offer robust training, competitive pay ($33.80–$38.15/hr) and comprehensive benefits to support you and your family. This is a full-time, on-site role with standard day shifts.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience working on medium and heavy-duty class 7/8 trucks.
• Candidate may have a Diesel tech degree and mechanical aptitude/background.
• Cummins MX software experience is preferred; basic computer skills required.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and repair medium and heavy-duty Class 7/8 trucks.
• Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical and electrical issues.
• Repair or rebuild major components (engines, transmissions, brakes, etc.).
• Collaborate with team to ensure high-quality workmanship.
