Truck Centers, Inc. is hiring a Dispatcher to coordinate movement of vehicles and goods across our departments. You’ll be the primary contact for inbound requests, gathering details, and getting the right driver scheduled quickly.

This role thrives in a busy environment, requires sharp records, and a solid knowledge of regional roads. Excellent organization and teamwork are essential for success in our growing Illinois network.

Qualifications

• Valid Class A or B CDL with endorsements and insurance eligibility.
• Minimum of 5 years' truck dispatching or transportation admin experience.
• Strong customer service and interpersonal communication skills.
• Ability to engage with diverse leaders, employees, and customers.
• Excellent organization and time management in a fast-paced setting.
• Ability to lead, direct, and coach team members.
• Proficient with computer operations, data entry, and MS Office.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate transportation of vehicles and goods across departments.
• Assign dispatch work, monitor timesheets for payroll.
• Log call details and maintain accurate records.
• Provide quotes and ETAs, dispatch drivers.
• Use vehicle tracking software to route and monitor status.
• Support the manager with notes and documentation.
• Track mileage, fuel purchases, and reconcile reports.
• Release vehicles following procedures and build cross-department relationships.
