Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Law, Engineering, Supply Chain, or related field.
  • 3+ years in a project management role; 5+ years in contract management preferred.
  • Experience negotiating high-value service contracts (> $10M).
  • Proven track record of delivering cost-saving or risk-mitigation outcomes through contract negotiations.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management across diverse teams.

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate negotiations and execution of contractor agreements; align terms across FS, Procurement and vendors.
  • Gather and analyze FS input for RFPs and hand off to Procurement on schedule.
  • Maintain master contract register with amendments, dates and key clauses; generate health reports.
  • Draft, review and execute contract modifications through legal-finance workflow.
  • Track obligations, milestones, deliverables, notices and expiration dates; alert stakeholders.

Position Summary

Samsung Austin Semiconductor is seeking a seasoned Contracts Manager to join our Infra Innovation Ops team. The ideal candidate will serve as the central liaison for all commercial activities related to contractor agreements, ensuring seamless alignment between Facility Services (FS), Procurement, and external vendors. Key duties include coordinating the negotiation and execution of contract terms and amendments, maintaining comprehensive contract registers and documentation, and tracking obligations, milestones, deliverables, notices, and expiration dates. The role gathers and analyzes data for RFPs from FS, passes it to Procurement, and supports vendor registration, contractor onboarding, and contract close‑out processes. Additionally, the manager safeguards the organization by maintaining records that support claim avoidance and dispute resolution, thereby driving efficiency, compliance, and risk mitigation across all infrastructure‑related contracts.

  • Bachelor’sdegreeinBusiness,Law,Engineering,SupplyChain,oracloselyrelatedfield.
  • AMaster’sdegree(MBA,M.S.inContractManagement,etc.)ispreferredbutnotmandatory.
  • 3yearsminimumexperienceworkinginaprojectmanagementrole
  • 5+yearsofdirectcontract‑managementexperience,preferablyinasemiconductor,high‑tech,orlarge‑scaleinfrastructureenvironment.
  • Atleast2yearsofexperiencenegotiatinghigh‑valueservicecontracts(>$10M).

The current base salary range for this role is between $84,000 - $135,000. Individual base pay rates will depend on factors including duties, work location, education, skills, qualifications and experience. Total compensation for this position will include a competitive benefits package and may include participation in company incentive compensation programs, which are based on factors to include organizational and individual performance.
