Job summary

Samsung Austin Semiconductor seeks a Project PM to support Facilities Operations. You will oversee construction, manage budgets and schedules, and ensure safety and manufacturing quality. The role requires PMP/PE credentials and extensive experience in facilities or chemical systems.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical or Chemical Engineering.
• 5+ years in facilities, mechanical systems, and chemical systems design.
• HVAC/Exhaust system experience preferred.
• Ultra-Pure Water, Industrial Waste Water experience.
• PMP certification.
• PE license.
• Experience managing Construction and Engineering Projects.
• Experience with federally funded contracts within a commercial organization.
• Experience in delegation, tracking, and reporting of tasks/projects.
• Experience in construction efforts including insurance, bonding, licensing, estimating, and supervising.
• Experience in Civil, Structural & Architectural construction.

Responsibilities

• Oversee construction to ensure safety and no impact to manufacturing.
• Manage construction processes within operations teams.
• Read and interpret plans and specifications for all construction phases.
• Develop schedules using professional scheduling software (MS Project, Primavera).
• Ensure safety policies are used in construction and monitor compliance.
• Ensure projects meet specifications and quality requirements.
• Monitor and report project progress and challenges.
• Review subcontractor and vendor quotes for accuracy.
• Monitor job costs and budgeting.

Position Summary

We are looking for a highly motivated, accountable individual to fill the role of Project PM supporting the Facilities Operations Group. As a Project PM, you’ll be responsible for oversight of the construction including budgeting, schedule, logistics, and ensuring that the construction activities are completed safely and without impact to the manufacturing process.

The current base salary range for this role is between $106,000 - $145,000. Individual base pay rates will depend on factors including duties, work location, education, skills, qualifications and experience. Total compensation for this position will include a competitive benefits package and may include participation in company incentive compensation programs, which are based on factors to include organizational and individual performance.
