Job summary

Oak View Group invites applications for a Stationary Engineer to operate and maintain HVAC and related mechanical/electrical systems at the Santa Clara Convention Center. Qualifications

Ability to work varying workdays/hours including weekends and holidays.
Must be reliable and punctual.
Ability to read and interpret safety and maintenance documents.
Must join Stationary Engineers Local 39.

Responsibilities

Operates, inspects, maintains, and repairs all convention center equipment (boilers, compressors, gas systems, pumps, motors, etc.).
Maintains door components and hardware.
Sets up and removes electrical power equipment for clients and catering.
Performs routine maintenance and minor repairs on plumbing, carpentry, electrical wiring, and related systems.
Maintains HVAC systems and components; monitors pneumatics and valves.
Reports major repairs or equipment additions to management.
Assists A/V technicians as needed.
Keeps an individual daily worklog and documents all work performed.
