Job summary

MasTec, Inc. is seeking a Solar Installer to assemble, install, and maintain photovoltaic systems on roofs or structures in accordance with site assessments and schematics.

You will measure, cut, assemble, and bolt framing and solar modules, while promoting MasTec safety policies and procedures. You will work with hand and power tools to lay out and install modules, apply weather sealing, and ensure efficient installation and system performance.

Qualifications

• 2 years of experience as a Solar Installer or equivalent in construction.
• Ability to read and understand plans and schematics.
• Must be at least 18 years old.

Responsibilities

• Promote and comply with MasTec safety policies and procedures.
• Install PV systems using drawings, schematics, and instructions.
• Lay out, assemble and install solar modules and support structures.
• Seal weatherproofing and ensure proper electrical configuration.
