MasTec, Inc. is hiring a Solar Installer to assemble, install, and maintain PV systems on roofs or structures in accordance with site plans and schematics. You will use hand and power tools, lay out modules, apply weather sealing, and verify system performance on site.

The role requires 2 years of solar installation experience, strong safety awareness, and the ability to read plans. This is a safety-sensitive, on-site position with typical construction site conditions.

Qualifications

• 2 years of experience working as a Solar Installer or equivalent in construction.
• Knowledge of PV system installation and safety standards.
• Read and understand plans and specifications; visualize 3D layouts.
• Must be at least 18 years of age.

Responsabilités

• Install PV systems per drawings, schematics, and instructions.
• Lay-out, assemble, and install solar modules and supports.
• Apply weather sealing to arrays and mounting.
• Identify methods to optimize installation efficiency.
• Ensure system operation and compliance with performance expectations.
