Securitas Security Services USA, Inc. is seeking an Experienced Site Supervisor for Marion, IL. The role supervises Security Officers and Lead Officers, ensures post orders are followed, and maintains client-site security standards. Must have 2+ years security and 2+ years supervisory experience.

The position offers full-time hours, a wage of $18.50 per hour, and requires commuting to Marion with a valid driver’s license and strong customer service skills.

Qualifications

Experienced Site Supervisor - Full Time

Primary Location: Marion, IL

Wage:$18.50/HR

The Site Supervisor helps maintain a safe and secure environment for our clients by actively monitoring the premises, including access control and patrolling a variety of locations. They preserve order whileenforcing regulations and directives for our client sites pertaining to personnel, visitors, and the area.

What You Can Expect:

• Functions as a supervisor of Security Officers, Lead Officers, and other company personnel assigned to one or more posts at client site(s); acts to ensure that all post orders are followed, that established rounds are completed, and that required reports are filed; notifies proper authorities and client in emergency situations.
• Coaches and disciplines personnel as appropriate; seeks advice from company management or designated representatives as appropriate; meets personally with employees and documents coaching and disciplinary actions.
• Trains Security Officers and other company personnel; reviews post orders and other details of assignments with subordinates.
• In conjunction with company management or designated representatives ensures adequate coverage of all posts and positions.
• Prepares, files, and submits various reports as required.
• Inspects posts as scheduled and meets with subordinates to outline tasks and responsibilities.
• Meets with client representatives as scheduled or as needed to provide assurance that all security requirements are being met and to provide quality customer service.
• May perform the duties of a Security Officer in accord with post orders and company policy.

Basic Requirements:

• Must be at least 18 years of age to qualify for a PERC Security Officer License in the State of Illinois.
• High School Diploma or GED or be willing to complete the GED program within six months.
• Above average computer / technology skills needed.
• Excellent customer service and team leadership skills needed.
• Must be able to work independently.
• Must be able to remain calm and professional during stressful situations.
• Must have great attention to detail and remain vigilant throughout shift.
• Must have a professional demeanor.
• Must be able to respond to emergencies with rapid / effective judgment and use appropriate escalation.
• Willing to participate in the Company's Security Officer pre-employment screening process, including drug screen (mouth swab and/or urinalyses are used) and background investigation (drug screen includes THC).
• Must have both 1st and 2nd shift availability - open availability preferred.
• Must be able to commute to Marion.
• Minimum of 2 years Security experience.
• Minimum of 2 years Supervisor experience.
• Must be able to work in a fast paced, high customer volume environment.
• Valid Driver's License and a clean driving record required (This position will include driver certification).
• Must have reliable transportation (public transportation is not available).
• Must have a reliable working communication device (cell phone).
• Must have the legal right to work in the United States.
• Ability to speak, read, and write English.
• Conflict resolution and de-escalation skills a plus.
