Job summary

Securitas USA is hiring a Multi Site Security Officer - Part Time in Springfield, IL. You will provide front-line security, monitor access, and assist guests while upholding our core values of integrity, vigilance and helpfulness.

Responsibilities include de-escalation, reporting safety issues, and following post orders while interacting with client staff and guests. This role requires a high school diploma or GED, strong tech skills, and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced

Qualifications

• Must be 18+ and eligible for Illinois PERC license.
• High School Diploma or GED or willing to complete GED within six months.
• Strong computer/tech skills required.

Multi Site Security Officer - Part Time

Primary Location: Springfield, IL

Wage: $18.50/HR

What You Can Expect

• Carry out specific tasks and duties of similar nature and scope as required for assigned site.

Basic Requirements

• Must be at least 18 years of age to qualify for a PERC Security Officer License in the State of Illinois.
• Have a High School Diploma or GED or be willing to complete the GED program within six months.
• Above average computer / technology skills needed.
• Security, Law Enforcement, or Military experience a plus.
• Excellent customer service and team leadership skills needed.
• Must be able to work independently.
• Must be able to remain calm and professional during stressful situations.
• Must have great attention to detail and remain vigilant throughout shift.
• Must have a professional demeanor.
• Must be able to respond to emergencies with rapid / effective judgment and use appropriate escalation.
• All candidates must be willing to participate in the Company's pre-employment screening process, including drug screen and background investigation.
• Valid Driver's License and a clean driving record required (this position will include driver certification).
• Reliable form of communication device needed (cell phone).
• Must have the legal right to work in the United States.
• Must have the ability to speak, read, and write English.
• Reliable form of transportation needed (public transportation is not available for this position due to shift and / or location).
