Mossy Auto Group is seeking experienced Service Technicians for a fast-paced, high-volume shop. The role involves inspecting, servicing, and preparing vehicles to factory and dealership standards, ensuring on-time completion and customer satisfaction.

Responsibilities

• Maintaining up to date technical knowledge of current models and used vehicles to communicate with service and sales staff.
• Perform work specified on the repair order with efficiency and in accordance with dealership.
• Test-drive vehicles and test components and systems using diagnostic tools and service equipment.
• Diagnosing, maintaining, and repairing vehicle automotive systems including engine, transmission, electrical, steering, suspension, brakes, A/C, etc.
• Communicate with the Service Advisor about additional repairs needed and estimate time for completion.
• Execute repairs under warranty to manufacturer specifications.
• Comply with company and legal requirements governing vehicle repairs.

We are seeking experienced Service Technicians to join our team. Our high volume shop is fast-paced, productive and a great work atmosphere! The Service Technician inspects, services, & prepares new & used vehicles according to factory & dealership standards, policies & specifications. As a Service Technician the responsibility of customer satisfaction falls into the categories of completing the job correctly and on time.

The ideal candidate will have 3 - 5 years of service technician experience.

The Service Technician Position has a Pay Scale consisting of the following elements and ranges. Wages include Base Hourly and Flag Rate Compensation of between $34.00 and $45.00, plus a productivity bonus equivalent up to a maximum hourly rate of $56.00 per hour based on individual performance.

Responsibilities

• Maintaining up to date technical knowledge of current models and used vehicles sufficient to effectively communicate with service & sales staff
• Perform work specified on the repair order with efficiency and in accordance with dealership
• Test-drive vehicles, and test components and systems, using diagnostic tools and special service equipment
• Diagnosing, maintaining, and repairing vehicle automotive systems including engine, transmission, electrical steering, suspension, brakes, air conditioning, etc.
• Communicate directly with the Service Advisor so that customers can be informed if any additional service is needed. Providing an estimate of time needed for additional repairs
• Executing repairs under warranty to manufacturer specifications
• Complying with all applicable company and legal requirements controlling vehicle repairs

Qualifications

• OEM certifications are encouraged!
• Ability to exercise good judgment
• Technical or trade school degree preferred
