Job summary

Mossy Auto Group is seeking an experienced Service Technician to inspect, service, and prepare vehicles to factory and dealership standards. You will ensure customer satisfaction by completing jobs correctly and on time in a fast-paced shop.

The ideal candidate has 3–5 years of service technician experience and will benefit from uniforms, tools, and ongoing training. A competitive wage with bonus opportunities is available in a structured shop setting.

Qualifications

• ASE certifications are ideal
• Strong automotive background is required
• Strong teamwork skills are essential
• Must have a clean and valid driver's license
• Ability to read and comprehend instructions
• Exercise good judgment in service tasks
• Clean driving record/CA driver's license required

Responsibilities

• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of current models and used vehicles to communicate with service and sales staff
• Perform work specified on the repair order efficiently and to dealership standards
• Test-drive vehicles and components using diagnostic tools and equipment
• Diagnose, maintain, and repair vehicle systems (engine, transmission, electrical, steering, suspension, brakes, A/C)
• Communicate with Service Advisor about additional repairs and time estimates
• Execute repairs under warranty to manufacturer specifications
• Comply with company and legal requirements governing vehicle repairs

We are seeking experienced Service Technicians to join our team. Our high volume shop is fast-paced, productive and a great work atmosphere! The Service Technician inspects, services, & prepares new & used vehicles according to factory & dealership standards, policies & specifications. As a Service Technician the responsibility of customer satisfaction falls into the categories of completing the job correctly and on time.

The ideal candidate will have 3 - 5 years of service technician experience.

Pay Scale

Wages include Base Hourly and Flag Rate Compensation of between $34.00 and $45.00, plus a productivity bonus equivalent up to a maximum hourly rate of $56.00 per hour based on individual performance.

Responsibilities

• Maintaining up to date technical knowledge of current models and used vehicles sufficient to effectively communicate with service & sales staff
• Perform work specified on the repair order with efficiency and in accordance with dealership
• Test-drive vehicles, and test components and systems, using diagnostic tools and special service equipment
• Diagnosing, maintaining, and repairing vehicle automotive systems including engine, transmission, electrical steering, suspension, brakes, air conditioning, etc.
• Communicate directly with the Service Advisor so that customers can be informed if any additional service is needed. Providing an estimate of time needed for additional repairs
• Executing repairs under warranty to manufacturer specifications
• Complying with all applicable company and legal requirements controlling vehicle repairs

Qualifications
