Job summary

Parma Tavern in Buford, Georgia is seeking an experienced server to deliver friendly, attentive service in a busy, high-volume setting. You will guide guests through the menu, suggest beverage pairings, and ensure accurate orders with a positive, team-focused attitude.

The role supports lunch, dinner, weekend brunch, and late-night service. Base wage is $2.13 per hour plus tips; benefits include employee dining, ongoing training, and advancement opportunities within our growing restaurant group.

Qualifications

• Minimum of two years of recent full-service serving experience preferred.
• High-volume restaurant experience strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Welcome every guest with friendly, attentive hospitality.

Parma Tavern is seeking experienced, energetic, and hospitality-driven Servers to join our team. For years, Parma Tavern has been a neighborhood favorite, serving an eclectic mix of Italian-inspired pub fare featuring stone oven pizzas cooked in our 600-degree brick oven, fresh pasta with made-from-scratch sauces, house-ground burgers, shareable appetizers, and an extensive selection of craft beer, wine, and handcrafted cocktails.

Position Responsibilities

• Guide guests through the menu and beverage selections with confidence
• Recommend food pairings, craft beers, wines, cocktails, and featured menu items
• Accurately take and enter guest orders into the POS system
• Manage multiple tables while delivering consistent, attentive service
• Monitor guest satisfaction and anticipate needs throughout the dining experience
• Upsell appetizers, desserts, specialty beverages, and featured menu items
• Maintain accurate order timing and communicate effectively with the kitchen, bar, and support staff
• Deliver food and beverages efficiently while ensuring presentation and accuracy
• Process guest payments accurately and responsibly
• Complete opening, running, and closing side work
• Follow all responsible alcohol service, food safety, sanitation, and company standards
• Support fellow team members to create a seamless guest experience

Schedule & Availability

Parma Tavern is busy throughout the day and into the late evening. We are looking for team members who are comfortable working a variety of shifts and understand the demands of a high-volume restaurant.

• Opening and closing responsibilities as scheduled
