Job summary

Mount Sinai Medical Center in Miami invites licensed Registered Nurses to join our dedicated team. The role spans medical step-down, assessment, planning, implementation, and interdisciplinary collaboration across units.

Qualifications

• Current FL Nursing License required.
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.
• Current Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification required.
• Level II RN: minimum 1 year of RN experience.

Responsibilities

• Maintains annual clinical competence in care of surgical patients and telemetry monitoring.
• Performs initial assessments and develops an interdisciplinary plan of care within eight hours of admission.
• Initiates wound, skin, and ostomy care per policy and documents interventions.
• Administers medications and IV therapy within policy and timelines.
• Documents patient responses and progress and communicates with physicians as needed.
